Certified EU and USDA organic, our premium olive oil has an acidity level of <.30% and is especially prized for its high polyphenol count. It is produced in Valle del Belice and Valle di Erice, influenced by a mild Mediterranean climate in both valleys. Vitaleone is obtained from 100% Cerasuola olives native to western Sicily. Green with golden hues, it has a harmonious and elegant fruity aroma of medium-high intensity, exuding herbaceous, tomato and artichoke notes.
The taste is well balanced between bitter and spicy notes. It can be used for cooking or to enhance the taste of grilled fish, meat, pizza, various tomato sauces, salad dressings, sautéed vegetables, and dipping bread.
